well....here's my story...raced harescrambles when I was about 13 years old...on an xr100. Took 10 years off that and became very competitive in Downhill mountain biking...took about 15 years off from that....KR took me for a ride on his 2009 CRF450X a year ago and I was hooked. So...doing the math...I am 39 years old and just over a year back on any kind of 2 wheeled vehicle. I must say it a million times in my head every ride...to hard for you, just right for me!

Paul is 31 and Eel is 23...so...XR was median age ;)

Eel had some...but for some reason it comes thru grainy when he emailed it to me. They tell me his computer and processing (blah blah blah is all I hear) is old or something. I dunno...I still don't understand why he doesn't just strap a reel to reel on the side of his head...lol

I have several from the time the three turned around. But it's from a 53 yo perspective :-) I will get rendered and upload to YouTube then link here. Yep my kids are 28 and 29, and a very cute 5yo granddaughter.

I don't subscribe to the "age limits my options" theory. When riding the Mex2Can last year I was very impressed with the sweep rider who was 74yo and riding on his 525EXC as fast as the rest of us. 100 + miles every day. I won't get old before my time. :-) I would drive there again for the same purpose, anytime.

Here is a link to the first 14 minute video. No music soundtrack, just a puttering engine. If you would prefer music I will change it.

Here is the link to video #2, about 12 minutes long. It ends at the point on trail where I fixed my petcock leak. that is all I recorded since the card was full at that time or the battery was dead. I thought the camera was set for "one button record" but it was not so I missed alot of good stuff from earlier. :-(

There's a guy I occasionally ride with who is 68-69 and rides a KTM 450EXC and is fast enough and can ride through anything. Physically he keeps going when everyone else wants to be done...his eyesight is the only thing slowing him down.

Sorry Ladybug, I was organizing photos on Photobucket and moved these to a separate album. You may want to edit the link.

Lamotovita, it's time you get some new boots Hey, wait a minute, my dirt boots just might be older than those guys.

Good job on the front page and double quote.

Are we going to get to see you before you head south again?

Dillon and Randi stopped by this evening and I got to see Randi's new scooter, she looks good on it. Dillon is looking good too I think married life agrees with him.

Hopefully, I had knee surgery last monday, stitches come out next tuesday. I plan on being on a street bike by the end of the week, dirt will take a little longer. Meanwhile I'm just trying to stay sane while watching summer go by.

I hope you heal quickly and you don't go in sane while working on the healing process.
