Stomp!

Fishy is still in the woods last I saw him,

He stayed at the Stanley Stomp to enjoy the food and fun. Last night they showed old 'lil rascals' movies and lit the propane fired campring, no pics, (no real fires allowd)
Ystdy we met TeamGS, , and her dotter, no pics agin, didn't run into her hubby. Met a few other ADV folk as well.
I had to come back here to pretend to work, so 'they' can pretend to pay me.
trailer in tow,

,

rode past some of these,,

camped with our very own waterfall!

had a small fire at that one,.

saw the diagonal, tavern to tavern crosswalk,(needs repainting)

had a brew or 2 in Idaho City, and peed in the horseshoe pit,,

(partly true)

Spent some time here to get Mr.FisherMan an inverter hooked up so he could sleep

great guys at this store in Boise, the young tech went above and beyond to help out!
Mostly, we rode around in the forest and ate like kings with these other peeple,

and that's what I know about that.

shoot!,,or don't.

I always get home and wish I had taken more pics, but it always seems that you have to stop to get good ones, and I don't stop often enuff, I guess.
Mr.Fishy will have more pics to add, I'm sure!
What beautiful country, and great roads,(and some not so good, adds to the excitement).
I wanna run away from home and ride,,if I hadda home, and could afford to ride.

Fishy will tell the tale of the KTM's anna big beemer riding way too slow at 50mph. they had their spacing down pretty good with the sidewind, so that nobody was eating dust.
We had our spacing down too, but we were traveling a bit faster, and we didn't count on passing other bikes,we had been in a world of our own, and in tune!,sorry for the dusting, or not.

The good news...

http://abcnews.go.com/US/amber-alert...ry?id=19928753

"They didn't fit. He may have been an outdoors man in California but he was not an outdoors man in Idaho and he didn't fit."

In other news I am relaxing for a few days with family, especially my great nephew who is on leave from Texas after finishing a tour in Afghanistan. Back home next week.

Stay away from Mr. Wade...he's trouble, and will steal your money faster than you can say "Do I really need that?"

Glad you got out there, I need more Idaho in my future - it's my original home state after all.

Somehow,,
I did not get pics of the fatFisherMAN onna 250 ,,WITH a FRIKKEN trailer,,jumping a cattleguard onna gravelly road at perty near 80 mph, while passing 2 KTM's anna big GS beemer , like it's a casual,'all on the way to camp. '
I chose to steer and ride and forgot about the frikken camera,,sorry ,,no guts no glory!
and no pics,, but,,,, IT HAPPENED!

My Brother,,what a gem!
a bit slow leaving camp,, but we made up for it with the right "groove",,if ya know what I mean!
Thanks FisherMAN,,love you, no foolin!
Stopped at the weigh scales outa Prineville, headed east,,
Me and the KLR, fully loaded and tanked up,,760 pounds,,
Mr. FisherMAN on his wr250rxeelrtwy with Moto-Mule trailer, fully loaded and freshly tanked up,,850 pounds.
keep in mind, truck scales of this variety are only calibrated in truck sized dimensions,,( also imagine a round shaped man and his rig at 850 pounds getting 6 to 8 inches of air over a cow trap while passing!) Dork! he raises a lot of dust doing that!

so I'm sure I don't weigh that much,,with MY trim figure,,come on!
