Interesting to see that after Robbys spin in the mud, he pulled directly in front of the next two trophy trucks to come up the road. Didn't really expect that.

WOW! Too many things so wrong with those pits.

Dropping the jack with out looking to see is the tire was even on yet.

Everyone raising their hands signaling that you are done....that's fine except for the guy UNDER the truck that can't be seen....... a dangerous practice.

Dropping the jack..........

Really you have to climb on top of the spare to fuel the truck??? What if you needed to add a spare? Nice place to be if there is a fuel fire.

Did I mention dropping the jack???????

Looked again, and you are right Larryleghumper, he didn't release the jack. The block used to extend the jack slipped, it slipped because he got in a hurry and didn't place it correctly. Damn near got that one guys fingers. Sorry, that is not hating on Rubs, it is pointing out rookie pit crew mistakes. I've been racing and pitting in Baja for over 40 years, I believe I'm qualified to critique a pit stop. Dropping the back of the car to the ground is a big deal. The chant of a good pit crew is "Slower is faster" takes twice as long to recover from a mistake made while in a hurry than to slow down and get it right the first time.

SST is falling apart at the seams. The SST races are now all part of some other venue and most (if not all) are going to be on pavement with the metal jumps. SST has gone from RG's premier stadium racing series to a side show in less than a year. Clyde Stacy has pulled the plug on funding the program and rumors from insiders say that RG & CS have already got their lawyers doing battle. (Additionally, RG is no longer racing off road as part of Clyde' multi-car team). It will be interesting to see if the series leader gets the big pay off at the end of the series as promised or not. RG may need to focus on winning the rest of the races so he won't have to pay one of the other drivers.

I watched the Toronto race on TV last week or the week before. IMO it was a joke. A really bad joke.

I needed to delete a bunch of videos from my hard drive, so I finished these of Gordon and Walch:

Is Robby headed to the Dakar rally this year with a new rig?
