Good to hear you were able to reach Smitty's...and good that you reached me before I got out of phone range headed back your way with my link and chain press in the truck.

Thanks to everyone for a great day! It was nice to put names with faces and know we're communicating with "real" people on ADV.

Seriously, I'm sure Rella appreciated the business and company today. She has been a good friend to everyone who walks through her front door.

HBN - Thanks for taking care of Skippii.

Arrived about Noon with Stedlo. Weather was absolutely perfect - 70s and sunny with low humidity. Wow! (Too bad I'm out of emoticons)

Happy sight - Rella's parking lot filled with bikes

Stedlo's new ride - Yamaha Super Tenere with only 400 miles so far. (Although he's secretly eyeing that Burgman scooter behind those dark sunglasses)

Quite a variety of bikes - street bikes, Dual Sport, sidecars, and one lonely scooter.

Nice!

Rella and Jeanice cooking up a storm

Hungry crew (not for long)

Too busy eating to even look up at the camera.

Stedlo going for the pie!

The rest of the crew was in the other room.

Cheeseburger and fries - a favorite here.

Special o' the day - meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes & gravy.

I decided to eat healthy (healthily??) and got a grilled chicken sandwich. Mmmm....

For dessert, I tried Jeanice's "Bread Pudding with Caramel Bananas Topping". It was great!

Still hard at work. How does this great-great grandma do it!!!!

The pie fridge was taking a beating!

Added a couple photos of past gatherings.

The guys all arguing over what color bike is the fastest.

Cheese!

Great riding - Great company - Great food. What a day!

Hope the group on Sept 7th has a good day like this.

Later!

Oh yeah. It's a molar and one root is broken off at the gum line. The other is loose. Chewing doesn't work.

Had a great time. My Ride Report from the weekend can be found here

Despite the crazy long wait for burgers for our table (sorry folks), I think everyone was full when they left. Long ride back to 757 for most but at least most of the roads back to VA are a blast. Thanks for the great turn out! I bet they both slept soundly that night.

Always love reading your reports. Didn't really get to meet you Saturday, but hopefully we'll cross paths again and I'll get to say hello.
