We got sidetracked by looking at a truck to possibly buy, a thunderstorm, torrential rain, and Mexican food.....

New tag !!!!

You'll see this on the way

Then this one

Uh+OH !!!! This is where it becomes a possible "Dual-Sport" TAG

Go around the mess to the left, this is what you'll see...

And...Here it is...the TAG

Lewis put his lake right over a state Highway....Dang that Mr. Smith

Ya gotta be within a foot of the waterline....

Give it a day or so with no rain and almost any streetbike could do this one...no hills, just a very small ditch/trench, and one BIG hole, not deep though, full of water.....

STRanger could do it on a GoldWing, in the rain, when it's 38 degrees, with a full tank of fuel.....

This lake is huge -- 500 miles of shoreline in three counties.

Having trouble locating this one. I had one possibility, but the barricade looks way different. Which of the three counties is it in?

Yeah, I am thinking I need a bit more of a clue. There is a lot of waterline to be within one foot of.

That is, unless any foot will do.

I was looking at CR437 at the extreme eastern end of the lake, but it doesn't look right in Street View.

That said, Yankee Dog, it does have the correct preliminary road closed signs and the 1500 ft. sign is bent appropriately and has the blue county road sign attached to the left post as in Mr. Goodwin's photo. Maybe that's it if you're in the neighborhood.

CR 437 goes underwater at the end of a narrow waterway with docks more-or-less in the right places....

Hmmm.
