These things have improved a hell of a lot over the years. I used to regularly spit myself off of the older waverunners.

The large sponsons really stabilize the rig, but don't seem to have any negative effect on handling except to bleed off speed faster. That just requires adding more throttle, and with 180 HP that just adds to the fun.

Speedo 66 drove my unit on Candlewood for awhile today. With both of us on board, that equates to about 120 years of power boating experience.

I also rode behind him, he did things like chop the throttle while doing 50. Chopping the throttle on a boat is like stomping on power brakes in a car. Next thing I know I'm pitched over, and onto, his back. He did it more than once, I think he liked it.

Nice jet ski, very fast. Good luck with it!

We also took a ride in my boat, including Mrs. BP and their adventure dog, Mack, who fortunately got along well with my dog. They seemed to have a ball together. Nice day.

Absolutely, keep working, we need working people to keep contributing to our Social Security, and especially NY people to keep paying taxes for my pension.

Thanks for your service! I'll just keep pretending every day is a weekend.

Yeah, luckily it was a 3 seater, so there was some man room in between.

But the thought did go through my mind.
