the system pictured on mine was from a 410 / 350.. It is a CH racing can, not sure on the pipes. But the power delivery has changed dramaticaly. it is much smoother and powerful low down.

The bike is now in enduro trim, and what a machine it is! powerslide galore!

New Horse in the Stable!

Picked up a gently used 2003 Husky TE610e last week with 10,000 KMs.

I need a good skidplate. I haven't found a whole lot of info on these particular Huskys. Any advice?

Also need some barkbuster-style lever guards but might want to upgrade the bars at the same time.

-Matt

Can someone confirm for me the correct flywheel puller I'll need on a 2000 610 TE-E?

I'm looking at this one: http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/partno/08-0349/ pretty sure it's correct, but I'd like to be sure.

Thanks!

I just bought one to. Hall's had a factory one for less than the motion pro one.

Vented Stator Cover

Has anybody used or seen a vented stator cover? Its supposed to keep the stator cooler for improved life on an older left kick single-cam. I'm just wondering, what do you connect the two vents to?
Thanks, Ron

Sprocket sizes

HI Guys,
I'm up for a new chain and sprockets soon for my '03 te610e and wondering what everyone else has been using?
Standard is 15 / 45 and I'm currently running 14 / 47. (it was on it when I got it)
It's great for trail and most road riding but it's reving pretty hard at 100-120km/h. Around 5000-6000rpm.
I was thinking of just going back to the 15 tooth for the front and staying at the 47 on the rear to try and get the rpm down a bit at high speed.
What do ya reckon????

Cheers Dan.

15-45 works great for me, if I go to the mountains I drop it a tooth on front but normal everyday riding on my 03 te610e the stock gearing is great for a mix of roads, from dirt to gravel to pavement. If I was doing a lot of trail riding I would probably leave the 14 on the front.
my 2 cents worth

Any idea how much modification it would take to fit the later model radiator shrouds onto the 2000

Do you mean the 570/'05 and up? They have a totally different tank, seat, subframe etc. '92-2000 are interchangeable, even though there were like three styles.

Here's a thread where a guy converted a left hand drive, non e 2000 model to newer plastic, but the non e single pipe bikes shared subframes with the 570's. http://www.supermotojunkie.com/showt...eplica-Project
