External Fuel pump(990-1190).

Ive searched a bit for an external fuel pump for my bike. I dont like the design of the Aqualine tanks and would like to have it where i can maintain it easy.
Has anyone done this before. Pressure should be around 40-60 psi? And would i be needing an regulator.

Regards

it is quite simply really

What would one need is an external fuel pump (hayabusa turbo dudes like the walbro), a pressure regulator and a way to install a return line. A flat plate can fit on the original tank mount with a fuel outlet and a fuel inlet for the return line. You would also need to have enough electrical juice and of course a place to mount the pump.

Having said that I can't stress enough that I haven't actually done anything like this (but I have carbs)

A few inmates have been working on a solution. I know CJ and I have talked about this quite a bit. He was working on a solution but I think life got in the way. Maybe soon?

I've had one running on my SER for 3 years now without a single issue. Maybe CJ and I can work together and assemble a kit for the masses. I'll bring it up next time we chat...

Ken: That sounds awsome. Could/would give me some links to elaborate on.
Case is that my projects Safaris leaked at the fuelpump. Easy enough, pulled the tanks and got 3 screws out. The 4th just turned around, or more detailed the unit encapsuled in the tank turned with the screw. Ive got a guy whome welds in plastic. Thinking of just going bombproof with external fuel pump.

Evil invader , used a Suzuki external pump on his 690 same pressure as yours
But the volume may be the issue
