The top plate itself has a concave shape to it that assists in drying wet helmets. Here in Michigan we have been stuck in several rain storms, my personal gear has been soaked and seems to dry out fairly quickly inside. We are toying with some ideas with r&d to put some notches in the plate, if the prototype tests well it will be put into production.

Thanks,
Chad
Three of them were mine. I figure I can put one under the knife, if I'm not happy with the air flow.

Just put in an order for two. One for me and one for my wife's helmet. I've been looking for a way to store my gear properly instead of just tossing it on a shelf in the garage. I'm hoping this is the solution to my problem.

Let the waiting begin!

Table,

3 black Helmet Butlers on the way to you! If you happen to mod the top and botch it, I can send you just a new black top. Enjoy your Helmet Butlers.

Goldfish,
Your order is packaged and ready for shipping, we will get it sent to you tomorrow via priority mail. You should hopefully see it between Tuesday and Thursday!

I got them yesterday. Had just enough time to get one unpacked and looked over before I got deployed. It really does look and feel to be top quality. Can't wait to get them hung and in use.

I got it yesterday (Monday, that was fast!). I was able to unpack it and check it out, but haven't had the time to mount it on the wall yet. I'll see if I can get some pics up on here when I get it all mounted.

My family is appreciating my not taking over the table, chairs, and counter with all my gear. Me, I was fine with it as it was...

For anyone on the fence, it is a solid setup. My 1-piece Roadcrafter has no issues being supported by the Helmet Butler. It definitely gets my thumbs up. Now, if only there was an equally handy setup for all my boots.

Interested in your product

Hey there,

Very interested in your product to take back some shelf space. Possibly interested in ordering four units.

Any specials currently being run? Also, does it really only mount with one screw point. I understand you can go into a stud or use a 75 pound weighted wall molly but I just wanted to ask.

Need to be sure when you have a $500 helmet on the top of the mount :-)

Edit: Spoke to fast. Secured via two (2) screws :-)

Mackdaddy,
We will email you a coupon code good for the black Friday sale. (I assume you also contacted us via email, if not I apologize let us know and we will pm you one through advrider)

We will publicly announce this sale and it's details in the next few days!

As far as your mounting question goes, there are 2 screws as you pointed out in your edit. The top screw is longer and angled down, the bottom screw keeps the helmet butler straight on the wall. We recommend mounting to a stud whenever possible, due to the sight movement of removing heavy jackets etc. if you space them correctly you will hit the 16" standard stud spacing. I have 5 mounted on my 1 corner wall only taking up a few feet of wall space.

Thanks,
Chad

Just placed my order

Just put in an order for four (4) units. I think it is time for a little organization in my life instead of continuing to throw items up on the top shelf
