Sho' nuff, the right side bearing had grenaded, taking the speedo gear along with it. It was an All-Balls sealed bearing less than a year old. I have been stuck in mud with the axles submerged twice in the past few months. Maybe that did it. The bearing on the left side was fine.

I rode it last weekend on a motocross track for the first time in years. Perhaps that was too much for the old girl! (I know, not the right weapon for the job, but hey, you ride what you have.) Where are you guys finding the cheapest OEM parts these days?
The parts fiche will list the number something like 6904 take that number to bearing supplier and get them in skf .timken or other non china brand

I think I will get one of those pieces for the left engine case for the shift lever to bash into after seeing JB weld at work on another post.
I'm going to drop it.
Mine is a white frame. I have the Manracks case saver on mine. Bent a shifter a while back and gouged mine, but not enough to leak.

My next rear that I'm gonna try is the Mefo Explorer. The Mefo Super Explorer is very similar to the K60 Scout. Both supposed to be great on street and gravel, decent on dirt, and get over 8k on the rear.

I can't wait to see some of the new DI smoker offerings. The new DR says Honda of all companies has one in the offing.
