Hi girls! I am truly bummed that I couldn't make the trip this year. I've been apart from my girls too much this summer and it would have broken my daughter's heart to miss her birthday that weekend. It looks like the weekend was a complete success. It makes me smile to see all the dirt on the faces!

I will be more than happy to help with the planning for next year's ride in Central Oregon. And I am always ready to do route planning and pre-rides. Let me know how I can be of service to the cause!

Ride report finally!

Hi girls, just the other day I finally got around to starting a RR it's in "Day Trippin'" I'll put a proper link below.

I wanted to say another big THANK YOUto Shelly for being the hostess with the mostess and putting together the logistics for making the ride happen! And also THANK YOU to Suzi and Crash Clay for being great guides!

BumpABump, best sacrifice for the ride, you gave your blood!
MotoFlicka, toughest "get off and pick up" I only saw the pix, wow!
Farthest traveled for the ride has got to be between Liv2rydktms and TeamGS, I'm not sure who actually lives farther away?

I hope ya'll had as much fun as I did!

Here is link to my report (it is still in progress feel free to add anything I missed!)

Glad we were able to pull this all together. It was only as good as the attendees made it! You ladies were a blast to spend a weekend with. I just wish Katy had made it clear that she doesn't like to camp. . Sorry, Katy! I am not good at taking hints.

I camp when I have to, and we have all the equipment, on this ride I had to, and I and everyone had a great time!!! Please don't worry about it, I had a choice, the riding and comradery made it worth it.

Right on MotoFlicka! Rat Dog sounds like fun. Don't forget to pick up a roll-chart holder and take some pictures.

I think those of us that live fairly close together should just throw together some ladies weekends here and there throughout the year. I just wish I had more weekends left this summer to be able to do it.

I'm for that...but, I'm getting pretty booked, too, for the weekends. My husband and I just did part of the ladies first days ride, except we started at the beginning of Neal Creek Rd. I only missed one turn and rode part of the power line road. Any way, I thought about all of the ladies...I could feel you guys cheering me on! The stitches are out and it's looking pretty good!

A few more photos of the ladies ride. On day one, Susi's group wound up waiting for my group for about and hour and a half at the designated meeting point. Just figured out why. I took my group on a "detour" on some nice roads around Pine Mont (17) so the ride would be a little more interesting. It added about an hour to the ride. Sorry group 1, but we had a great time riding the way we did.

Along Barlow Road. Wish I would have taken some shots at the "dangerous descent," but I was too concerned with all the mishaps that had taken place.

On the way back to the Hood, Scarlet, NatDesertCat, CrashClay and I traveled the dirty way along Lolo Pass. These bridges just beg to have their photo taken.

Ah, what a small world! "Dogging it" = too true. I realize now the other bike (and another year of riding) would have been MUCH better for that day. I was glad to be on the pavement at the point you saw me.

You and your wife were a great inspiration for the day though -- hope i find a adventure partner like that one day!

Happy riding!
