It's NOT called the douchebag commentary / anal-retentive nitpicker thread. Or the make fun of people that ride better than YOU thread. Or the comment on things you know nothing about thread.

Yes, perhaps irrelevant to you. But maybe, just maybe giving an OPINION, let me say that one more time: OPINION, of something a rider could be doing differently or better may help a new rider make an INFORMED (in·form in fôrm verb past tense: informed; past participle: informed 1. give (someone) facts or information; tell.) decision about what they MAY want, or CHOOSE to do/wear/ride.

There is no such thing as a non-fail.

In all seriousness, This has helped me redo my body positioning, how I pack things, how I place my hands on the controls...

Heck, this whole site has literally changed how I view riding a motorcycle.

I love this thread. All the bickering and trivial nit picking is hilarious. Plus every now and again a half naked chick pic shows up.

I'm sorry I didn't realize you were a motorcycling expert. You ride what?

In all seriousness, that was my point. I realize this thread probably didn't start out as a serious thread, but I've seen several things here that have helped me ride better, or at least form as objective an opinion as possible. Sure some one may be ATGATT with their TT hard cases properly locked, manufacturer's spec tires aired to the correct PSI, but if they aren't looking through the turn then they're going to have an issue. Maybe it's simply a discussion about the pros and cons of putting your toes on top/underneath the shift lever, but if it helps someone ride better/safer/more enjoyably then what's wrong with pointing out something that could be done differently.

And of course, lets all ponder the brilliance of riding pillion in a thong, plus most people like a thong here and there right?

Fuck me!

I had to quit riding after realizing I'd been doing it wrong for so many years and just couldn't change no matter how hard I tried.

Anyone need a DR650, XR 1200, or a Road Glide?

Yamaha Vstar 250. I've put less than 2000 miles on my bike. So I AM A NOOB! ALMOST EVERYONE ON THIS SITE HAS MORE KNOWLEDGE THAN I DO. I know what I am, and I know what I know, and I'm learning what I don't know. I offered no motorcycling advise in this thread. I said
