Note: these GPX tracks include ALL my nav errors and should be cleaned up before using.

I had a couple days off before the big Labor Day weekend and did this loop solo on the KTM 350 EXC-F w/ the 5.2 gal tank, SPOT tracker, and Garmin 62S GPS. Great loop! fantastic High Sierra scenery. Lotsa loose rocks the size of baby heads and larger in the High Lakes area and the Lakes Basin area.

Wow, awesome loop.

Some very familiar territory there. Nice job and thanks for sharing. I haven't been out near enough this year.

What?

No pics of the Buttes? We hiked up there from Packer Saddle on Saturday...beautiful.

I was camping up there with the family this weekend. Love that area. We got rained on Sat night and Sunday night and all day Sunday until just outside of Quincy.

Shit! yer right! I skeedaddled down Packer Saddle to Downieville, so from a previous adventure...The Buttes from the amazing Butcher Ranch Rd. with a little rain thrown in to duplicate Sundays weather...what a downpour on Sunday!

I lived in Magalia for 10 years from 1985 to 1995 and I think I saw water in Snag lake ONCE!

Nice pictures of some familiar lakes/roads. Thanks!
