I like it a lot and fits me very good, I am 5'7 and can do it. YOur wife seems like it can not flat foot it, but you sure can, many too much to be comfortable?

Damasovi, so what does it take for a foreigner to buy one in Mexico? As far as paperwork, how does that work?

I didn't get to test ride the bike. They did have a demo though. I liked it quite a bit and I thought the price was right. My wife didn't flat foot the bike but she doesn't flat foot her PCX either. She said she felt pretty good on it.
I really like the fact that it's an icon - Honda has sold millions of them and that it would be a rare item here in the US.
My wife still has family in Mexico so it wouldn't be hard to buy one and get it plated (in Mexico). Crossing the border wouldn't be an issue either.
So, I'm thinking.

MONEY is all you need!!! Unlike the US at the dealer they don't care what you do after you buy it, the dealer will give you a set of papers that will help you to register the bike in the state and that is it. If you would like to have it platted that is a different issue, but if you were to export it to the US then you have to ask your government what it must comply with (EPA, Smog and the like)

This cub is FI so it would be a lot easier to pass, how much red tape that would be? I have no idea (I have never taken stuff from Mexico to the US, only US to Mexico).

I hope this was clear, if not then ask me more or PM (to keep this tread on track)

Please remove the entire side stand or restore the switch, these switches save lives.

Otherwise one day you'll be distracted and leave it down, then when you least expect it of a gentle left hand corner you'll be pitched off the bike without warning. Fine if you land on nice soft grass, not such a clever weight saving if you land under wheels of a truck.

On a UK forum here a regular contributor has only one leg, the other lost following a distraction which caused him to forget to put the sidestand up. It caught him out on a roundabout and he woke several days later in hospital missing a leg.

On my SYM RV200/Joyride there is a sidestand that self-parks, but the stiff self parking makes it useless;- so I took it off completely and just have a centre stand now. No way I was going to remove the parking spring and risk leaving it down.

Oh whatever did we do in the days (not so long ago) when sidestand safety switches were only a gleam in the eye of an intern electrical engineer....

Three of my four bikes came from the factory with no sidestand switch. Two of them don't even have rubber tabs to flip up the stand.

On the one *with* a sidestand switch, it's a common mod to disable the switch before it leaves you stranded in the bush somewhere unable to start the bike when the switch (frequently) fails.

It's up to the rider to ensure he operates his equipment safely.

This bike at around $2000 OTD is the only bike that would make me even consider getting rid of my Symba.
