i like a good cold beer poured over a scratch like that.
removes lots of the dirt and grit, feels great, and acts as antiseptic since the contents of a beer can is sterile until opened.
Hell,,,I've hosed out many a gash with an open foamy beer bottle!,,

Oh wait,,that didn't sound quite right Dwight.
you maybe should look into buying a riding jacket of some sort,,,

Crashed my road bike (bicycle). I did get in a motorcycle vs. car accident the week before though. Funny story I am trying to decide whether to post it up.
