Would have been a better show had they been on PD's as opposed to Kawasakis. Even though PD's didnt come about till after the show I think.

i posted this on another thread yesterday, but i'm so happy to have another gspd (my third one) that i just had to post it again here!! even though i have a bad case of bike fever (for the last 51 years) and trade often, i have promised myself that i'm gonna keep her. i've tried all the other adventure bikes (ktm 640e, 640a, 950a, bmw r1100gs, r1150gsa, r1200gsa, r1200gs, r100gs, transalp, dr650 etc etc) and now beleive that this is the best adventure bike all around.

without further ado, here she is:

a 92 with 59k--runs great. gonna get a decal set, tkc's, take off the supertrapp & install the stock exhaust and enjoy her!!

Last ride of the season

I am hoping this wasn't the last good ride of the season.

If it was, it was quite memorable. The temperature inversion allowed for some spectacular alpine vistas.

I just posted a little album of my GS on Reddit (subreddit r/bikesgonewild)

This was my favorite comment so far:

"That cover [roo bar] looks like you could plow thru a house! Awesome!"

The first step towards recovery is admitting that you have a problem!

Sunday afternoon chilly ride in the Ganaraska Forest.

It was always my intent to make doggy seat to take her for a tour of the local forests... but unfortunately cancer took her early. Next dog will be smaller!
