Pizzolito already reaching LAX, and I understand rest of the HRC (not Honda Speedbrain) riders will be there too.
For more precision, tests will start from today on the Mojave desert.

Hope testing goes better this year than the fiasco they had last year

Sam will be entered for the 3rd time in 2014 and could still be classed as a Dakar rooky !

Pizzolito commented to be really happy with the new bike, he emphasized "we ´ve got a bike to fight on top"
Seems Helder is not testing there now, just Sam, Javier and also Johny Campbell Racing as support (and as a rider??).
No photos.....................

Morocco is looking like it could be a key event - now the final leg of the CCRWC and the big Dakar test - looking to be shaping us for a good week with Mergouza a couple of days later!

I understand the words, but is there something that's not being said? is there a "real" reason for the switch?

Well the true reason is the political instability in Egypt, rally safety just could not be guaranteed, but I'm sure the conspiracy theorists will have a field day, especially with the French link

Laia Sanz seems to have a ride for Dakar but has said today that she is not ready to make an announcement. Could we see the announcement at Morocco ?

Next challenge? 'I'm tired after a crazy weekend. I need a week off to recover physically and to begin preparing the Dakar 2014 in full conditions. It's a test that I love, which I have long way to go and this year I hope to be better prepared than ever. After 13 titles in trial I have come to recognize as much and now I find new motivations in enduro racing and the Dakar. - What project can move dakariano? -small thing. The Dakar is expensive and we are working to go with a good structure and a good bike. Still I can not give details, but I hope that is not a project only to the Dakar, but also for the entire 2014 season enduro.

Any guesses as to what team ?
