going to take the wife on our first two up trip this weekend.

heading to Eugenia falls, Sauble Falls, Lions head, then into Tobermory.

Then heading back via collingwood, wasaga, midland.

Should be about 800 kms.

if I remember to take photos I may make a first attempt at a ride report.

Okay hivemind, the Versys needs replacing and looking for some input.
I foresee a lot of fast super slabbing and long days next spring. You know, the usual!
Don't want a Goldwing, but it has to be good for two-up riding. I'm talking rocket ship transcontinental riding across the US type of stuff here. What should I be taking a look at? I'll probably go for used too.

FJR or Connie.

personally I would choose a GSA for that task, but it sounds like you want a sport tourer and a k1600 is probably more than you want to spend. The two Japanese sport tourers I list are amazingly trouble free and VERY solid bikes.

I know someone with a nice BMW K1200RS that they might selling ... that would be a good bike for booting across the country.
