Digital heated grip/gear controller. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic. It is 3x2x1 and full potted so weather and vibrations don't effect it.

Very nice, I think. So..... for those of use with, at least the smallest amount of interest, .... would you like to explain a little.

Well, it has a PWM controller inside that's rated for 8 amps @ 12 volts giving you 96 watts to play with. The LED is hooked to the output side of the PWM so its intensity varies in accordance to how it is set. The entire case is full of GE II Silicone (when it off gasses it won't hurt the PCB) to its pretty impervious to water and vibrations. The screws are stainless so they won't make a mess over the years.

I am thinking of making them to sell, just have to get my ducks in a row first.

I thought you might be thinking of selling them. In that case we want ask for any more details, thanks for the look at the prototype and good luck with the sales.

I whipped this up for a friend at work. I fit it to an old Buck 110 I had, and then gave him the sheath and the knife.

I really should have taken a pic of what it replaced. It was epoxy repaired, hand re-stitched, and really nasty looking. Just like you would have expected one that gets good use to look after 20-30 years. The knife he had had been sharpened so many times it was about 3/4" shorter than the "newer" one I gave him.
