we're gonna be on a 92 r100r airhead. When I parked it I had to jump it off that last morning. Postive cable was loose, so I hope that was it or maybe I hit the heated seat and killed the battery. Other wise if you were me and had to get electial system checked and fixed quick. (down time =not riding time)

would ya go to zen or goaz? Or some where else?

We just got back from that part of the country.

Rt 12 in Utah from Bryce Canyon to Torrey is specatacular. One of the best roads I have ever ridden. Including Tail of the Dragon.

Zion National Park is incredible.

Moab, Utah is awesome but hot as hell.

Monument Valley is really cool but a long ride to get there.

Beautiful part of the US. Everything is pretty spread out and there are some long straight roads.

Have fun

Zen Moto is the preferred place to go. Give Dillon a call and I'm sure he'll shoot you straight.

+1 for both the rim road for scenery and for zen moto for great, honest work.

I had the apple pie at the Thunderbird about a week ago. I am crossing back across Kansas just now. 20 to 30 mph winds. Waay fun

Considering the rain of late I would advise against the Burr Trail. I talked to a guy who got stuck down in there a while back after less rain they we have seen recently. Also, check the ferry website. I believe it is out of operation Until next year.

As for what you will miss. 12 is a downright scary good road North of Escalante. You would also miss Capital Reef and Glen Canyon.

Are you trying to get to Hanksville or...?

I'd stay on 12 up to Torrey, then east. When you get to Boulder, you'll be able to ride the paved part of the Burr to east about 18 mi, then comes the switchbacks. Ride out and back to 12, the paved portion is fantastic!
The top of the pic is Notom Rd. Left is north to CRNP, right is south to Bullfrog.
