I don't know if you heard about one of my neighbours who managed to get a replica in the newcomers race. Chris only has the use of one arm following a mountain road motorcycle crash on open roads.

He has become a local hero following his efforts...and deservedly so too

Oh yeah! Followed his progress all week. Also saw him going round at Jurby. What an incredible achievement! Unfortunately I was helping an English lad with his pit stop, so wasn't out on the circuit to watch him, or get a decent pic.
That man deserves ultimate respect.

It's a shame we never caught up. Next year, I hope.. You may know this bloke as well, our close neighbour, and top bloke, Shaun Leonard. 2 replicas and several pints, happy man!
For those that don't understand; having one of these on your shelf is a major achievement. It's no easy gig!

I was at the Creg when Michael Dunlop came through on his 124MPH lap on this bike! Had a pint in my hand at the time, probably should have been a camera! Was the most spectacular I've ever seen there, for sure
Unbelievable.

Another Bandit engine. Now where's that rule book.......?

Oh yeah. The Poms are good at that! And obviously it works!

Agostini's bike. I know this, helping to unload it!

Adjustable swing arm pivot. In the '60's. who would have thought? Nice shade of red.

The other one. They never did get it happening quite right.

Love your work boot!

2 1/2 weeks to go for my trip. Not long until the Island for you! Looking forward to those photos.

7 rows of bikes, stretching back well over 200 metres. That's quite a few! All sorts and capacities, lining up for evening practice. So if you happen to be near the rear end, the likely hood of you getting even one timed lap in is fairly remote...and you need to complete a minimum of 5 laps to qualify. Did I mention this is no easy gig? A couple of days lost through weather, red flags etc, and forget it....

Even the seasoned TT pro's like Cam Donald are over the moon to finish 2nd, in the 350Classic...

While we're on the Cam Donald thing, this is his 500 mount. Not a bad looking piece of kit.

Big revs for a 500 single...

Too many mayhaps. Split the cases after 1 1/2 laps..

Which left me free to do other stuff, rather than give Cam his pos, +/-, at the Gooseneck.

A shame really. He looked up for it, and was gaining big time...

The winner, Ollie Lindsall, showing the perfect line through the Gooseneck.
