Turns out, I am my own best customer.

Converted my KX to street legal.

So, I got a V Star 650, and am bringing it back to life after 4 years of sitting.

Here she is, before I got started on her.

Carbs were NASTY.

I can't believe the thing was running at all.

Getting all cleaned up.

One of the pilot jets stripped out, and the brass bolts that hold the main nozzle snapped off, so I can't put it back together until some parts get here.

I've got the forks off for new seals and fluid, and pulled the rear wheel so I can service the final drive.

It shouldn't be a problem. I have the carbs nice and clean, and the rest of it is solid.

This one wasn't on CL though.

There was one very similar, because I saw it and thought hmmm.
Then remembered I didn't really need another bike. But I hate to pass up a deal.
