Since I've never actually seen this structure, a clue to its location sure would help. If how the tag was described is a clue, it's just me and my senility, again.

Old Railroad Bridge on Hartman Road, Greene County. Some say the bridge is haunted.

Why don't modern bridges last this long?

Next Tag

I met the man who once owned this place. He raised and sold trout from these ponds as a hobby. Drove a Mercedes and rode an old BMW airhead.

It called low bid gets the job.

Good grab BTW.

Your new tag looks really interesting...read about it...just too far for away.

new tag

This is in a small community that was named for the flowers that used to grow beside a small body of water there. It is next to a road that shares the stores name.

Not that it matters anymore but it was in Flag Pond at the corner of Old Asheville Hwy. and Rice Creek Rd.

Question

I still have not figured out the flowers and the body of water. Help?

Stopped at the Cork and Crown Pub in Mars Hill, NC, on the way home for a cold drink. Nice English Pub right down town.

Supposedly Flag Pond was named after a pond that had a lot of what locals referred to as "flag" flowers growing around it. Now that I think about it that clue might have been a bit obscure.

I live about 3 miles from Cork and Crown and I have never been there. On your recommendation I will have to check it out.
