Scotland to Kazakhstan

Well tomorrow sees me set off to Aksai in Kazakhstan on my trusty Cagiva Elefant 750. Hopefully take in approx 15 countries based on the route I have planned. Doing a few high mileage days but also doing some scenic routes. Start off with a 625 mile ride down to Dover which should be the highest mileage day.

Not sure if anybody from the forum has visited Kaz on their bike before but I will update with any "challenges" I face.

I live in Almaty, and know few people in different cities that can be of help. let me know by e-mail if you need anything here in the country. Aksai is close to Aktau as I remember. (or is it Atyrau????) I worked IN Aktau for a year. Roads there are almost non existent :) have a safe trip.
