As has been pointed out by others, estimating distance is hard. I'd estimate his speed at maybe 25-35 mph at the point he started braking.

"Weak sauce" or not, I saw what I saw.

You're telling me you saw clouds of blue smoke for 30 feet from his rear tire at that speed?

I'm saying I saw his rear lock up, and blue smoke pour off it. And he barely avoided rear-ending the minivan in front of him. Exact distance I could not tell you.
