Hey, not trying to be nosy but I was looking thru your pics from previous outings(you have some nice photo's!) and stumbled across a couple pics of an old friend of mine. Rodger Zbell, the owner of Precision rafting(the guy in the red kayak)!
I hope you liked the Upper Yough! I used to go Kayaking up there damn near every weekend. Its one of the best, "guaranteed water" commercially rafted, whitewater rivers in the East!
If you liked that you two should go to the Gauley river. Tis the season!

Oh wow small world! Roger is cool as hell. One of my coworkers who goes all over for whitewater rafting trips told me that Roger's a legend and apparently was one the first to raft a certain river in Nepal and it was super dangerous and a book was written about it. My coworker recommended the Upper Yough. It was a great trip and my first time rafting. I think I'll have to build up my experience before I attempt that solo in a kayak. I bet that's a lot of fun. I definitely want to try the Gauley next. Thanks for the recommendation!

Hey, did you make it to the Gauley? Do you paddle a Kayak or thinking about it?

How about a lunch at someplace like Ben's Chili Bowl in WASHINGTON DC?

How about lunch at the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico? Admission is free and you can order beer with lunch.

Alright, here are the details:

Date- Saturday, November 23rd
Location- Thomas House in Dayton (near Harrisonburg) (click on name for link to map).

Great food, including home made pies! Should be really fast service as the have a serving line, similar to that in a school cafeteria. Plenty of parking out back.
