Who wants to do some wrenching.

I just don't have time to mess with this and would like someone to do some wrenching for me.

I have a 1978 Honda CT90 and need a new tire and tube put on the front. I have the tire and have new tubes ordered. I did the back one today and managed to pinch two tubes. Hopefully the back one does not leak after patching it.

The bike will also not idle down quickly so I don't know if the carb need rebuilt or what. I have a carb kit on order.

I also want the valve clearances checked and the bike generally looked over and to be made running good. It is clean and not a junk trap BTW:

So if you have the skills and some time I am happy to throw parts and some money your way.

I can deliver the bike to you or you are welcome to work out of my garage. Or you can pick the bike up.

Just looking for a more reasonable price and time frame than some of the small shops.

Let me know if you have any interest. I am in Westminster and don't want to travel too far.

My phone and email is in my profile or you can PM me.

Marc

Need to borrow an OBDII to USB cable for KTM

The kind used with tuneecu on an 990
I have the KTM to OBDII part of the cable, but my ODBII to USB cable is lost in transit somewhere.
Anybody in the Ft. Collins area has one I could borrow for the weekend?
(I can borrow one in Denver but I'm trying to save a trip)

Wanted to buy or borrow a Kaurit Moto Tire Tool.

Or I'll trade you for a pair of Aerostich combat boots.

If you find one, let me know. Awesome tool!

p.s. My amateurish rear tire change resulted in a pinch flat over the weekend and the new tube arrives today.

Here is a thread where I got the tool but not the stand. I think I'll try to get in on the next buy.

I did read both of those and am in if there is another group buy. I see one on flea-bay but am not sure I want to drop $175 for one. I thought if someone had one that they were not using I would be interested in it.

It makes it look easy to mount a tire, but then again Ned makes it look easy to mount a tire.

I bought the Prostand. Works great. If anyone wants to check it out / change a tire or two at my place they are welcome.

FIXED,

Well I went to the cabin this weekend and left my FJ parked in a friends garage so it would not get damaged. Their dog was evidently pissed it could not go with us and somehow got into the garage and spend a long time trying to get into my truck. Scratched the hell out of the drivers door and left rear panel. I will talk to my insurance but wondered if anyone here had a top notch body shop that would be willing to get some business. Here is a picture of it wet and I highly doubt that it will buff right out.

We all know it is not really the Dogs fault, but yes that was good for a chuckle.
