Thor T-30 MX boots Size 13 Free to a good home... Almost embarrassed to list them but Just can't bear to throw them away..

Sole is cracking / missing a chunk

With a resole these boots would be very nice with minimal wear / they still clean up nice.

Intro

Whitfield - you have a PM coming re: boots

Howdy class. A recovering lurker here, figured now's as good a time as any to quickly introduce myself.

I'm Mike in Bon Air, a budding adventurer. I guess. I had ridden when I was younger, but had been away from motorcycling for about 15 years. I have many friends who ride and had been talking smack and waffling about buying for myself again for about a year and a half... finally took the MSF course as a refresher early this summer and jumped onto a '13 VStrom 650.

Anywho, I have a background in endurance cycling (I'm not a stranger to 200 mile days, have pedalled the BRP Afton to Cherokee in 5 days for fun, etc.) and am looking to put in some serious miles with a motor under me as well. Hoping to meet and ride with some of you folks as I get sucked further in.

Welcome Mike. You should like it here. This is as nice a forum of riders as you could hope to meet. Someone is riding almost every weekend, and we cover the gamut from long distance slab pounding to single track creek riding, with everything in between. We all throw our legs over the bikes the same way, the only difference is in how some of us dismount....... (right side, left side, over the handlebars, in creeks, mudholes, etc.)

I look forward to meeting you too. Welcome!

Jeff

Is he buying sumpin new and cool, or just keeping the track bike and bmer?
No, just trying to divest himself of some bikes. The track bike will also be for sale at some point. He's keeping the 800GS.

He's asking $6000.

RTE and GS Trophy

Ditto .... great lunch. Thanks John, Jimmy and Doug (my brother).

GS Trophy ..... You guys have fun but be safe. I think the course is going to get wet and muddy so dig in and give it to them good. Keep the photos coming.

Today is over (thank goodness!). 360's, j turns and weaving through cones alone or practicing alone in your cul de sac is VERY different than when judges with clipboards, 15 team mates, photographers, BMW employees and the general public is watching YOU and only you. I actually got butterflies during the first couple of events. I think a lot of people were humbled today....

I am really looking forward to spending the day on dirt all day tomorrow and getting up where I want to be! (In the top 12!)

We are all having a great time, it's hot, heading to the pool for a while before we head out to find steaks!

Sounds like fun! I wonder where I'd end up rank wise. Probably humbled at the bottom HAHA. Be safe!
