I have just returned from a three week vacation in France and Italy with a lot of time spent driving (in a cage). France is a beautiful country that offers some amazing riding. Great roads, incredible scenery, and lovely villages. Best to go in the spring or in September when schools have reopened and the crowds returned home. We were primarily in the south, Cannes area, and Chamonix. Did get in some amazing road trips. Have added a bike trip to that region to my bucket list. May take three of four years to pull this one off but it IS going to happen.

Amazing how many GS's one sees in Europe. BMW have sold an incredible number of GS's over the years.

And I echo your sentiment: "Viva la France"
