Kerosene lantern

Glad you and the bike survived that adventure. Darn kerosene. Great for camp cooking I guess, but those LED lanterns sure are nice. Are you cooking when you camp, and if so, what fuel + stove do you use?

GoPro

Hi Dave.
I hope you are ok after all the mishaps ...
When you read this, I have your new GoPro with me. Where do you want me to send it ? Maybe you can get an address futher on where you intend going, I can send it there.
OK, take it easy and don't ride at night.

Oops, sorry I really did not get the message.

But that is super. So I just keep it for you until you arrive.

Mmm ... Or maybe I should just ride and meet you somewhere and ride back with you. If you want to, give me some details of your plans and the route you plan to take and I might just do that. I can do with a bit of riding up North !

Nice beautiful pictures mate. Traveling the world on a budget ey.
Do you think you'll need a new bike soon? Hows it holding up so far?

Also if you need any budget bike gear, i found a great site for the aus http://www.motorcyclehouse.com.au/mo...ts-for-men.htm

Yes, did that convoy in July - but you don't have two-foot deep potholes on nascar circuits.

These low life's won't leave you alone on this trip, will they?

I'd find a bar too

Really sorry about that mishap. (you just can't trust those Germans and South Africans!) That really is a bummer. Reading various threads I can see that resilience in spades helps on these long trips. I haven't looked at your S. American report yet.....did you have any similar experiences there? Agree with the pub choice under the circumstances!

We can replace 'things' over time.....the more valuable commodities are harder for creeps to rob. Envy you in Berlin!
