fracas

Ok nothing we do here associated with Cack goes with out some kind of mayhem. I think Cacks retirement should be shared with the people who loved her.

I want to start another ride report but cannot do so without the perfect
name. It will be Cacks last ride.

Now here is where it gets interesting.

Cack does not have to go directly to B'ham

Cack does not have to be rode there by me. ala Cack comes back.

I am looking for good hearted volunteers who might want to risk their minds riding this piece of shit. It would be sweet if someone wanted to fly into Colorado Springs and rock on out final destination Birmingham Bama.

Remember Ride name and rider time is of the essense so if it drags on it would have to be a way southern route

Ok, so here's a thought experiment…

If pap is like bab
then dad is like ???

Just a bit of a mind stretch for fun and entertainment for the whole family!

Just found this thread last night and fast forwarded through it! Great stories and ugly bike. Can't believe you moved to CoSPrgs!!! Awesome, isn't it? I am just up the road from you in Castle Rock and ride through there all the time. I had an 89 model from 91-98. Called it my Miata, looked cool, but had no guts. Speaking off butts, every time I saw one riding down the road from that fat behind, I wondered why I owned it. My license plate was W H T I Z I T 'cuz that's what everyone asked me.

Marketing story on the bike as I heard it was Honda was looking to capture the urban Dinks crowd that had made the Accord a success with a motorcycle that was supposed to remind them on an Accord. Supposedly the dash cluster was right out of an Accord and the rear light bar wrapping around the clamshell trunk was supposed to remind them of an Accord as well.

I still have one of the original marketing brochures from Honda. Looks like Cack's parents were a very classy couple. Obviously they were appalled by Cack's lack of flair and must have put him up for adoption being the wild wanderer that he was destined to become. Looks like he led a fast and hard life and has become a brittle, old, lifeless piece of polymer before his time.

RIP Cack, a picture of your parents before you were conceived enjoying their Dink life in Sunny SoCal.
