Yup, that was us. The dust made identification difficult, but Hoots thought he recognised one of the bikes.

It was a good ride today from Hoots, no breakdowns, no crashes, nobody died, a success all round. Very worthwhile.

I wasn't sure whether the 990 with Safari tanks was John S ... ?

Had a black helmet, which doesn't quite gell - but the bike and gear looked like John ...

Anyway, good day - we aimed for Binalong for lunch, but it was getting a bit late by the time we'd come back from the roads above Rye Park - popped down to Yass instead ...

Yep that was Johns 990, Hal on the Red BMW, and me on Black DR, we'd been up to the Cairn just North of Tottenham, just came from Gooloogong that morning via Wyangla, Reids Flat, Bevendale via Maryvale Rd. I grew up on Maryvale Rd. , so a trip down memory lane.

It was a quick bit of road, and everybody had passed by the time I thought about stopping and saying hello - sorry about that ...

Tottenham is a fair ride ...

Not really, there was a rally up there over the weekend that a few of us went to. The ride was a blast some great roads up there. Won't be going to the Far Cairn Rally again though.... boooorrrrriiiinnnnngggg it was a snooze fest, old Beema riders discussing Beemas without the benefit of a camp fire and the one provided was so far a away and so small it was a friggin insult. So nah won't do that one again.

Couldn't afford a 'GSA', so now it's an 'XSA' "I didn't do it! & whoever said I did, is a liar!"

We we're going out to the Cairn on the Sunday but Iva has taken up smoking and drinking so Doc thought we'd better boogie home. Plus I had a massive hangover .

Good causes are good and all, but it didn't warm us up.

Spaghetti Rally here we come, then the Thunder Rally yee haw bring em on!!!

Cheers

I know, right?

I'd never go anywhere with a BMW rider.
