2013 R1200GS LC (GSW) parts by DS Bike Protection...now available at ADV Motorrad!

DS Bike Protection (based out of Igualada, Spain, near Barcelona) has been hard at work prototyping, testing, and producing new parts for the 2013+ R1200GS LC (a.k.a GSW). Building on the success of developing ADV gear for both the prior generation GS and other bikes, DSBP's parts are a great balance of form, function, and value.

ADV Motorrad is the exclusive North American importer for DS Bike Protection and we are excited to make these parts available to our fellow ADVrider inmates! We have good stock of most parts at our shop in New York, with more coming regularly from Spain. There's also new products in development that will be announced later in this thread after testing is complete.

First up...secret spy shots from the confines of the DSBP product testing lab....

DSBP R1200 GSW Sidestand Enlarger - $38.99 -

The stock footprint of the new liquid cooled R1200GS side stand is fairly small for a larger bike, making it a somewhat risky proposition to park on hot asphalt or loose sand, especially when you're loaded up with gear for a long ride. This aluminum side stand enlarger from DS Bike Protection will help prevent your "wasserboxer" from tipping over and incurring unnecessary and expensive damage. Tucks in nicely for no interference with riding boots, and installs quickly with included hardware.

Numerous slots and holes provide multiple tie-down points. Available in anodized black or anodized silver.

We've been happily farkling a bunch of GSWs with new parts from DS Bike, and appreciate all the positive feedback on the new products. We still have good stock of most LC items, and should have more arriving from Spain the week of 10/28.

We'll be announcing some new products here shortly (hint - if you take a look at the pictures of the LC at speed in the first post, you can see one of them ), but if you have any questions, please feel free to PM, email at sales AT advmotorrad DOT com, or call the shop at (585) 310-ADVM.

Thanks!

GSW parts are moving briskly, but we still have good stock in New York and more on the way from Spain.

Anyone want to take a guess at who manufactures those bitchin' crashbars on the red bike in the first post? More info to come, but for those that have been holding out for a set of stainless steel crashbars at an incredible price...your wait will soon be over....

A few pics off the bike to better show some of the crashbar details. These shots are of the raw prototype and not the finished product. The pics above with the bars mounted on the bike show the finished product in bead-blasted stainless. Feel free to click any of the pictures to be taken to the product page for more info.

We estimate we'll have a few of these in stock in stainless and powdercoated black in the next 3-4 weeks. Of course, I'm sure I could bring in more at a better price if someone wanted to twist my arm for a group buy.....

The first order of crashbars are en route from Spain and should arrive by Monday the 9th....

For those that have already pre-ordered a set (or are thinking about doing so), here's a quick video from DS Bike showing just how easily these mount up....
