I think that's the R1175GSA(w) "retro" edition.

2014 R1200GS Adventure

What is the word on the Adventure for 2014? Will it indeed be LC? Has anyone seen the price and option sheet for it yet? I have been told that I could put down a deposit for one, but I tend to like to know what I'm getting first.

Can't believe there isn't more intel on this thing yet.... if it's really going to be released in the States for 2014. There is an industry/public show in Orlando this fall- maybe that will be the debut?.....

Canadian dealers are having a major meeting in October and expect the GSA WC details to come out. My GSA is having major vibration issues and if they can't fix it, I'm done with BMW all together so the new GSA will be a moot point.

That can't be right. Well, it can be, but compare:

I'm very much looking forward to seeing the actual release in the showroom. If it is what I expect it to be, judging by the images, it will more than re-validate my purchase of the "old/current style" GSA.

Something just doesn't add up with that design. Then again, I said the same thing when they introduced the new Concours in '08, and I've come to love my 08 C14. So, I prepare to stand corrected...

Why can't it? I'm assuming you're talking about width? The GSA does look a few inches wider as it's about even with the heads. On the standard GSW, the fairings for the radiators stick out, but everything else is tucked in. The GSA doesn't look quite as tucked in right behind the radiators.

Canadian dealer said last week they will have more details (pricing) in November. As always we all want one as soon as it's available, nobody will want a pre-LC GSA from that moment on. You can't be a shorty with this one and droppping that beasty SUV might hurt

I said it could. And yeah, I't talking about the width. Perhaps this would be a better comparison.

Even the current GSA is much fatter than the standard GS. That's the tank since it can't go up or down, must go wider. I actually like the wide GSA tank because it acts as a great fairing and blocks all wind from the ankles up. Downside is it does the same thing in the summer.

The old GSA isn't much better. I've been known to refer to mine as a "jacked up Goldwing."
