Squeaky clutch lever

So my local KTM garage can't reproduce this, yet I can pretty much every time. What do I tell them to look for? Bike's got 43000 miles.

Bike in gear, clutch in (as if waiting at stop lights), an audible squeaking noise and a sensation of sticking/releasing when actuating the lever both in and out.

Happens less / barely if the bike is in neutral.

Fluids all fine. Actual operation of the clutch is fine. I'm just wondering if this is a warning. Sound appears to be coming from the left hand. I personally think it's the seal on the master cyclinder but I'm told it's fine...

In a perfect world I'd strip it all myself etc etc, but I don't have the time or space.

To remove and refit the clutch plates all you need is the 8mm socket on the T-Handle from the stock toolkit. It will take you half an hour max. Put the bike on the sidestand and you wont even need to drain any fluids.

Does it do it when hot or only cold.

try a bit of lube on the lever pivot bolt - may be dry and gummed up ?
my clutch on 530 exc was squeaking every time you pulled lever
a bit of grease and all good now

is the sound coming from the handle bar area or the motor ?
