Yhe replacement set of E07s on my G/S were the new more rounded profile with stickier rubber.

Much better grip, turn in and feel on blacktop, without loosing anything on gravel.
Probably more grip on blacktop than the Pirelli Sport Demons on my Funduro, but the Sport Demons are just the wrong tires for the bike , and me.

Like BOm3r it looks like 11,000 km will be it, compared to almost 15,000 with the older ones, but I value the extra grip, and 11,000km is twice the life of anything else I've tried.

The next set on the Funduro will be E07s too.

Let`s hope they have fixed the front tire de-beading problem.

I'm running them front and rear on my R100GS and like the way the front tips in to corners. Around 15,000km on the front and due for replacement soon. Pushing 9000Km on the rear and apart from the usual small cracks, it will be good for possibly 11,000Km.

Planning on keeping one on the rear with maybe a TKC80 or M21 on the front if I need something knobby.

Are the E07 only only available in bias-ply?

I fancy radial tyres on my F650

How did it go for scalloping on the bitumen? I used to run TKC80s on my 1100GS and spin the front one around at around 9000Km then almost double that.

Bias ply only, but don't let that worry you, give them a try anyway.

Eh? E07 Dakar

I was just wondering if the E07 DAKAR was available in Australia yet? I ordered some from the local shop in 150/70 17 and std non-dakar ones turned up, they said that's what they were sent......

Have they ever made an E07 Dakar? It is an 50/50 tire, not a proper knobby. I know they only import the E09 Dakar into Oz and not the standard one.

Knock me down with a feather, I would never had thought that. I'm due for new ones soon and will try one on the back if they are available here.

I asked for some E07 Dakars at my local M/C shop a week ago. Haven't heard back yet as to they're availability. Can only hope though
