2:15 remaining in Q2 Espargaro really lighting up the boot trying to get stopped behind Bradl.

MMs seventh pole position this year!

Rossi sounded very positive after QP2, and actually he was less than 2 tenths from pole. Who knows maybe there's life in the old dog yet.

If the weather stays the same for the race as it was for quallies, the potential for a 4 way slugfest is there. It will likely be more of a 2 way battle between the kid and JL and that will be good enough to keep me glued to the screen.

A big FU to Rupert and his Fox Sports boondoggle for now also trundling Moto2 off to FS2 (which I don't get) along with Moto3. As always, if there is a way to fuck it up, someone, somewhere will figure out a way.

Only because Pedro highsided out of the race.

And I really hope this had nothing to do with MM going wide on the entry to that corner, and damn near clipping DPs back wheel. I could not tell from the footage, if they touched or not.

Now the title is MMs to lose.

Looked like a Dani mistake; Parrish on the BBC queried whether he'd gone down 1 gear too many, and high-sided when the pinned the throttle.

On the motogp.com broadcast somebody just explained, that there was contact, and as a result, the rear wheel speed sensor on DPs bike was damaged, and this messed up the traction control, leading to the highside.

Ouch.

(IF that is true - dunno, but somehow it sounds a bit far-fetched to me, that you could make a direct hit on that tiny component - then Ben Spies is in fact not the unluckiest man in MotoGP.)
