Deadhorse Bean Run Oct 24-27 Waylusing, PA

Well it's time to wipe the frost off your balls and come enjoy some quality time in the Endless Mountains of PA.

Cheap camping, cheap food, cheap thrills and cheaper women make this a must attend grassroots rally. Booze on premises and a Halloween party with the locals Saturday evening. Black out or knock out a few teeth and come say hi...

Location as usual:

Pats Pub aka The MA
rt 6
Waylusing PA

Oh and don t forget to bring beans!

interesting and very helpful, thanks. so just some beautiful woodsey backroads and dirt, i'll be more than fine on my anakees (am vaguely considering going to the "color in the catskills" event at hunter mountain this weekend but don't know if it'd be great without knobs).

i'll kick this around to some of my pals as well to see if i can get some interest in heading up as a group

Ahhh so Deerslacker is alive and well....

Doug what day do you plan on pulling in? Im looking at a thurday evening arrival. If pat doesn t clear the cabin I may have to pay ya rent for the chateau on wheels bathtub as my sleeping arraignment (hopefully I can sleep thru that whole Marco Polo dealio).. Do you have the XR with you?

As to the kind of rally and riding there....mostly gravel and dirt roads, with an occasional tarmac section to clear the mud outta your treads. The get together is a very old school grassroots gathering of friends, sitting around the campfire eye rolling at each others stories and savoring libations fit the bill.

thanks. this sounds pretty nice.

to get some clarity since you mention a cabin, is this a camping event? are there campgrounds? DHMC site is pretty spare on details (actually just provides a date IIRC) and your initial post just references a bar as the location

BEER AND BS,

LIBATIONS? Mainly whiskey for me.

Weather uncooperative? CIC (come in cage)

Sleep in local motel or backseat.

Pat and Holli's Pub Tavern

Most likely cabins have been reserved.
Camping or nearby motel.

Sorry guys......Camping is also on site, they charge 5 or 10 bucks for the weekend usually (don t hold me to that). Cabins are usually reserved well in advance (I reserve a year in advance) so chances of getting one are pretty slim. Although usually some of us let people shower in their cabins as a courtesy.

It is a very low key event...Don t expect a BBQ, a pin or a key fob....bring a chair, a bar of soap, a tent and a fresh liver.....oh and advriders that show like Knob Hill for you newbies that are thinking of attending..
