I'm sorry, but I had nothing to do with the cold front

It would not be CIC without some mud on the slopes. You know you'll love it.

See you all there. If anyone is riding Sat morning from Western MA or NH, I plan to cross the Berkshires sometime around 7am, probably on rte 2 to 23.

Big Day at Hunter

Spent the day at Hunter laying out the course for the GS Challenge.

We also met with the food and beverage folks about the party.

First beer is on Max! Max thinks the sooner you have a beer the more you'll like the pasta.

If you're on the fence come on up. There is a full on Oktoberfest all day. The Rip Van Winkle rally books go out tonight, the start is at 08:00 Saturday morning at the MAX BMW Motorcycles tent. There will be 60 bikes departing for a great day of riding.

The GS Challenge is on for 1pm. There are a few great spots for spectators; for a great day ride the chair up and hike down, or you can drive / ride over to the west lift for the hill climb section of the GS Challenge. You can also take the chair down from the summit.

The guided DS rides will start at 9 and run until the start of the Challenge. There may be guided rides to good vantage spots, check at the tent.

If you'd like to help out we could use people at specific locations where we anticipate riders to be challenged. Swing by the MAX tent any time and be ready to depart around 12:15.

The party is going to be great. We've got an excellent space for a nice pasta supper and good beer. There will be some extra tickets, swing by the tent if you'd like to join us. Current head count for dinner is 180 and rising.

Will the guided tour/summit route be possible 2-up on a Tiger? Looking to head up to the top to snag the RVW tag and watch a bit of the spectacle.

Thanks!

Are Friday guided rides still a possibility? If so, any idea on timing?

Not sure as of now, best thing to do is stop by the tent when you arrive.

If there was going to be a Friday afternoon ride it would probably be around 3pm.
