I'm 6'1" and have the seat on the low setting.
Thanks for the input , as I am 6'8" I was thinking of the taller 1190 screen
I like the way it is leaned back to lift the air over the helmet

I have tried a dirt-bike helmet with peak/ visor as well as a road helmet
and tried the RR screen and the stock screen cut 2" then cut 2" more
finally have stock screen cut to 3" above dash and this is good for off-road
I am looking for something to add for some longer road trips etc.

At 6'3'' with an Arai XD3 helmet and a slightly taller seat, I can testify the biggest reduction in wind buffeting was observed by removing the cool looking but buffet inducing visor. I'd estimate there is 50 percent less wind buffeting with the visor removed.

I have a 2012 990 Adv R and have zero instability on the highway. The thing rides like it's on rails. I've do 70-80mph regularly without any instability. I've had the thing up to 100mph and no instability there either. I'm running Pirelli MT90 Scorpions front and back and a Scotts stabilizer.

Now on to the real issue: wind buffeting on the head!
