Tracks for gravel roads around Zanesville? Why not send a map of where to find water in the middle of the Atlantic ocean? Zanesville has tons of them on all side around town. Just tell your friends to take off and head East on secondary roads, they'll find stuff.

Now please massage my little ego....

You have to do some massaging to see my ego. Without the massage all you see is the "e"

Thanks.
I don't have any tracks to send but if you head East out of town on Hwy 40 for a ways, then cut South you will hit all kinds of gravel.

Here you go: http://www.aep.com/environment/conse...land/maps.aspx Most of the roads in this area are gravel and public access, there are some trails but if I remember correctly they dont let you get away with venturing off road as much as they used to back in the day. They have a permit that you simply print off and sign in order to camp and stuff, I wouldnt think you would need one to just drive through but it's free and easy to get so you might print one to have just in case.

That explains all the arrows I saw Friday.

For you diesel bike guys.

http://m.motorcycle-usa.com/17/4639/...uick-Ride.aspx

HDT is now apparently defunct, the would be makers of the diesel klr. Sold their shop in the US after moving production to India under/with the name sabre. The klr diesel plans are to be used by sabre.

The above linked bike is made by the Dutch.. 45hp and 80 ft/lbs of torque. Much better than I've seen out of any other maker this far... at about 140 mpg to boot for normal riding. Combined with simple diesel mechanics, running on anything that resembles a hydrocarbon, and less maintenance,it's something to look at.

I also saw a few posts that Harley was considering a diesel bike..but they were dated 2009. Never heard this before.

Did a little industry ride out of Louisville on Saturday. Western KY roads with an afternoon stop at Maker's Mark Distillery. It was pretty cool. Started raining close to the end of the ride and did not stop. I did not hang out and do the S Indiana loop on Sunday.

Valley View Ferry crossing the KY River.

I'm still here, spending most of my time out bow hunting now that the season is open. Have been getting the itch to ride though. Dr wants me to wait until Dec before getting back on the bike so I'm waiting it out.

Im noticing a trend here.. maybe Obama will start making diesel motorcycles next. That should bury GM.
