Canisterectomy attempt ktm 950

Hi all,
I opened up my bike today to change an intake vent tube a bought a while ago, but I realized it was useless if I removed the SAS and EPC system, which I did. SO I took most of the crap out and plugged the rest. I figured I'll by the vaccum caps and the plates later, see if the bike runs better.
I fire, the bike cranks, but it wont start.
Any ideas?

I followed 2 procedures from, which are actually different.

Until then, Im on my bicycle ....

Hard to tell from info provided.

Maybe a fuel line problem--kinked under air box?? Problem with quick disconnect? can you hear the fuel pump operate?

If you haven't installed SAS block off plates, did you plug the lines from the SAS connections at the heads?

Vacuum line issues can also cause problems. Did you plug or cap the taps from the manifolds?

Carb vent hoses run down and out the bottom of the air box into the V between the cylinders? Lengths per TSB

Good luck.

I think you will find a unsealed vacuum hose. I had the same situation.

If I recall it is the one that goes to the canister
