1st post.. Long time lurker

Hey everyone! Down near Corpus Christi, TX, daily commuter on my Vstrom, occasional weekend trips when I can. Hopefully South TX riders will chime in and fill me in on some trips, meet ups, pie runs, etc. Love the site and hope I don't dumb it down!

Moving to Texas for work. McAllen or Loredo? Looking for dirt and street. Not afraid if Mexico.

Hello all. I am not really new to the forum, but failed to post my introduction back in July when I was told about the site.
Anyway, I live in Coldspring, TX and own a 2008 KLR650. We love riding the forest roads and the farm to market roads around Lake Livingston. Planning a trip this Spring to Big Bend and in a couple of summers a trip around the country on the KLR.

Down south a bit....

Hey rostov... (I keep forgettin your name???) Be sure ta come down around Waco when ya get the chance. Lots of good ridin west of Ft Worth & south.
The Dec TWT pie run in Crockett will be a big get together too. ...& the two Second Sunday Meets which you've already been to. You've already been ride initiated by slowoldguy so any other riding with any of our CenTex regulars will be a piece o cake.

Anyone in Corpus Christi?

I'm going to ride around the Mustang Island state park area tomorrow. Does anyone have a good scouting report on the AO?

Well maybe not, it's going to rain.

Maybe on the way back up from the south.
