Yea, but for the price of a chinese scooter it might be a lot of fun. Other than the lovely "seat" area I have seen a lot worse. I don't know if he is from Poland or likes to "polish" his pole...with that bike probably the latter.

1999 KTM 300 EXC Enduro - $895 (Cedar Crest NM)

Not mine...

http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/mcy/4094823098.html

1999 KTM 300 EXC Enduro in excellent shape. Ridden 2 times in the last 5 years and only ridden sporadically in the 5 years previous to that. Great bike, starts easily with one kick once warm. 2 - 3 kicks when cold.

This thing looks great. If I didn't have so many project bikes already, I'd probably pick this one up.

http://cosprings.craigslist.org/mcy/4113620012.html

This Bike is a True Racer from Victorville California, Raced in the 2002 Grande Prix and is in Great condition. The Front Suspension was built by flat track legend De Wanye Jones. It is a 1973 Yamaha MX250, the engine has very few hours on top end rebuild and the bike is in good running condition. This race bike a real piece of AHRMA history and it can be yours today! $750 If cool stuff makes you Happy then you need this cool AHRMA race bike.

1983 Honda VF750F Interceptor blue/white Great Shape! - $2000 (Littleton, OBO)

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/4098654088.html

1983 Honda VF750F Interceptor - the bike that changed EVERYTHING in the early '80's.
Great shape. CLEAR TITLE. Good Dunlop tires. 31K miles. Runs great. Starts right up.
Amazing V4 sound and power. Small tear in seat but otherwise fantastic shape for the age.
Only $2000 OBO for this classic bike.

IIRC, the XC is close ratio and the XC-W is wide ratio

a lot less familiar with the later designations than the old RFS EXC/MXC stuff...

Funny, I just had one of my students ask me about this bike before I saw Blake's post. So tell me why this would or wouldn't make a great bike for a college student moving up from and old 70's CB650. He is tired of wrenching and just wants something he can ride and ride and ride...

For $2K I was steering him toward something newer.
