Not I, but I could offer you a superior backroad alternative. Who are you going to see (without the fam)?

How many miles? On my Wee the adjusters were maxed out and it was just under the maximum stretch when measured.

Thanks for reminding me!

Yes, sold it to a guy a few hours ago. Right about the time I listed my DL, everybody and their brother listed theirs. I wasn't too sure it would sell easily from now thru March. That would have been OK too...but this is better!

One of the (many) reasons I haven't made it to BWDR...yet.

The new owner seems like a pretty cool guy. Lives in Arlington. I told him to log onto ADV. He'd fit right in. I hope to see him post!

The family plans that were keeping me from the BWDR tonight postponed until tomorrow so I MAY be able to run to Elkton after work. I still wouldn't be there until 7:30, we'll see how it plays out.

Edit, not going to play out well it seems. oh well, at least I got to hang out thursday and friday.

I think OnO may be right about replacing just the bad part of the old chain. The rest looks like it could go a lot more miles. Well at least keep a piece of the old chain for spare links/parts. If it ever happens again you'll be set!

Yeah. Too late. Haha. Its ok. I have a spare master link. The chain was a little stiff. No wear on the sprockets. I did replace the front. Cleaned the rear well. I have the SV if I really want to ride aggressive. although that bike still scares the crap outta me. Hahaha. The strom is jusy my commuter. Most of the miles are from Strasburg to Manassas via 66. Not much "adventure".

A interstate on a motorcycle can definitely be an adventure.

Charles... you were missed. Eric was talking Scotch and said you were an expert... I thought he meant you were an expensive drunk

Be safe and ride under 100... your license and bank account with thank you.

They are still around? You know, if my wits were just a little bit quicker, I'd have figured out you were a Phish Phan. They were a little after my time and I was pretty established and locked into my hard rock standards (Zep, Hendrix, Clapton, Allman Bros, Floyd, ...) when Phish came along so it wasn't the window of opportunity for me to be open to them. Although as time passed, I discovered a lot of cool people were into them. I bet that's going to be an awesome time, and give your mind a chance to relive simpler days.

I am planning on camping there in 2 weeks and was hoping to find out if the gate had been opened with all of the federal bruh hah hah in place.

If anyone wants to check out a seldom accessible ridge line 4x4 road for me - please let me know....

Bwalsh - I am sure you are familiar with the area... its FR88 and 1719.

Just bumping this to see if anyone had made it this way this month. Any intel is appreciated
