Funny... Never considered myself a Kawasaki guy, but three of my last four bikes have been Kaws. And two of my current three.

That's a great new bike, but you've gone from BBQ places to SONIC???

Nah, we just stopped at Sonic on the way home for a lime ade. Don't have anymore file tags with the Versys and don't like to use file pics from bikes I don't own any more. Plus, it was raining.

hahaa! it's just because I still want one! potatopotatopotatopotato.

Some days, it's nice to take a cruiser around. Other days, I need the 1050. Was looking at a nice anniversary (not sure which year) super glide on sale... but I think I want a big ass bagger. Road King or something similar. need mid controls, and storage.... a bike without storage isn't useful to me.... in fact, I think I want one in white with bags so it looks like a cop bike.... yeah... that's the ticket!

You can buy a police version easily. The dealer in Concord had about a dozen last time I checked.

You got this via Crapatalk

I'd rather spend $6000 on a nice used bike, and the other $7000+ on tires and gas for the next 5 years!

If I could've done the feet forward thing, there's a decent chance I'd be on a Triumph Speedmaster today. I'm really glad I couldn't ride a cruiser comfortably.

If I was going coast to coast on slab, I'd consider a RK or similar. Otherwise, it just doesn't have much use to me that I can see.

A friend of mine rides KZPs. One is pretty much decked out as a cop bike. He has fun with it...

I just can't get onboard with the electric bikes. Other than 100% of the torque at all throttle openings, I don't like them. Nowhere near enough range to be useful. Or even adequate as anything other than a grocery getter. The offroad versions are worse in that regard. 25 mile range or so. Not even enough for one big loop at Brushy Mountain. And who's going to bring you spare juice when you get stranded even a couple miles from a trailhead at a place like NCMP?

Maybe someday, but no desire to be an early adopter on these.

My brother is selling his 2006 road king custom.
He sent me a text. He is retired air force and his bike is pristine.
He has back problems and doesn't enjoy riding anymore. I'd buy it if I didn't already own one.

Rugby would look cool riding an electric bike with a big solar panel on his head.
He'd have to be home by dark tho.

No shit. Last two years I've been riding over 80% of all days. The last week, I've ridden one out of 6 and that was just to Youngsville and back...

Need to get a Plan B in action here. This is getting ridiculous.
