Any suggestions of where to ride this weekend?

Rides are posted in this thread on a regular basis. We also meet at Hawthorne's Pizza in Charlotte on the third Thursday of each month for dinner and to discuss motorcycles, places to ride and a wide variety of other topics. Stop by Hawthorne's this Thursday at 6PM and join us.

I'd like to get a ride together for the 26th or 27th... you know, when I'm back in town. All street or dual sport no matter. Of course we'll need someone to lead it.. or I can use my GPS tracks and relive a past ride.

Just a thought since I'm out of it for the next couple weeks. Get this weekend ride in the record books and post up some pics, show me what I'm missing.

Augie, Larry and StarWolve:

Nice riding with you today! That was some good riding, even though we ran into rain here and there. Hope to see all three of you Thursday night at Hawthorne's.

glad to see you all make it back ok. ain,t it somethin what a couple of (presumed saine) men will do for a buttered up piece of hot tail. sorry I was not able to tag along. kinda looks like we gonna have to do group SS1000, or BBG 1500 in the near future. it will give us something to talk about thursday. I can picture some real texas briskit in our future already. guess its time to break out the old ironbutt stallion. we both got a little age on us now, but I think we can hold our own.

Augie: I thought you'd go for that bait. Old Iron Butts don't get soft, they just get a little rusty.

Augie - I'm almost afraid to ask, but here goes... What is that canister strapped to the swingarm or passenger peg on the left side?

I might be up for a ride on Sunday, 10/27. Sorry, I missed the ride last weekend. I am trying to make the Beaver Rally in Tellico this weekend but again too much going on to relax and just ride. I've been to almost all the Beav Rally. Love riding single and dual tracks in Tellico Mtns.

Later,

Jon
