Those slight, occasional corners out there have a way of getting sharper as they come up fast. Something about the scale.

Looks like you have Anakee 3's now? How are you liking them?

Good eyes, you have

So far, I like them. felt different on the dirt- solid but I miss the edge lugs the anakee 2s had- it helped gauge the lean on the front. The front on the2s cupped badly on both set I had, but performance was always good

On the road has felt good, no whine that others have reported.
No word on wear yet, too new

Nice thread, Signal! It was a good way to waste a few hours of a slow night shift!

I've considered creating a thread with some of the rides I take around the Tooele County area, but decided against it - lots of desert, and I really don't get out for long-range jaunts. Most of mine are within 50 to 70 miles of home.

Anyway, keep sharing your pics!

Yeah, I've posted a few pics on Google Earth - especially in the Oquirrh Mountains around the Jacob City area...or in the Stansbury Mountains...or out along the Pony Express Trail...etc.

...but I won't post pics of certain structures such as the remains of cabins and such because I don't want people to destroy them. Besides, the places where the remains of cabins and such are in places you can't access without getting off your ATV and bushwhacking.

Wow found this thread two days ago. I just bought a 2011 GS 800 a month ago. Can't wait to explore all of these areas in the future. This is on my LIVING LIST. Thanks for the ride

Went for a little ride today, just out to Fairfield by 5 mile pass 62 mile round tripper, toes got cold. But the SUN was shining!
