I think they sent Kimi out too early in q3. But the car seems to have pace.
Will Webber get a Webber start or will he be on fire? (Hopefully not literally)

I would bet that Vettel has no better chance of making it to turn 1 in front than when Webber is on pole, sorry to say.

That's really sad. And hard to believe that she died a year after her accident.

Webber's done deferring to Vettel. He's angry at him and he literally has nothing to lose. But it won't matter. With his traction control and generally better starts, Vettel will nip Webber and run away. Personally, I hope Webber rips a wheel off Vettel so we can have a race.

De Villota becomes the first F1 team driver to die as a result of an accident since Ayrton Senna in 1994.

I like the little German squealing "Keep him away from me" when it looked like Webber might be able to get up and battle for first.
Was it better to put half worn mediums on rather than new hard compound?
Would Webber have had better pace with the hards?

Yes, it really is so hard to see why Vettel gets booed on the podium by those "unsportsmanlike" spectators, when he's such a sporting little fellow himself.

Edit: And autosport.com quotes Webber saying he wasn't sure why the team chose to three-stop him but not Vettel, claiming he'd have got to the end quite okay on two stops.

I think that remark was in regard to the back marker he was coming up to, not calling for a team order.

But I gues it's tough for some when the best driver wins, even when he is not on pole position.

Is that you Sebastian? If it is wasn't it good your team boss put old tyres on that bastard Australians car so he couldn't battle for first with you? Wasn't it also good they pulled him in for another pit stop that wasted more time that put him back into third instead of first? Now tell the truth is it you Seb or is it one of your supporters?

Sorry to disappoint you, it's not Seb and I'm not really one of his biggest supporters, but at least Vettel got passed Grosjean rather quickly whereas Webber got hold-up for a couple of laps.

I think that was the deciding part of the race.

I find that I didn't actually mind the result because it didn't come from pole and it was far from certain until quite near the end.

On the occasions that I've seen Vettel interviewed (other than post-race), I think that he comes across a decent bloke (especially his sense of humour).

Webber can be found at Silverstone on his days off watching and encouraging young drivers in lesser formulae (not in Red Bull branded clothes either). Another decent bloke.

It's Red Bull that I cannot for the life of me warm to.

Right on, no one else saw that?

Why would Vettel demand from his team that they keep away a back-marker from another team?

You might well be right, but I can't see the sense in it. He could not reasonably have believed they could do anything.
