Mt.Washington midweek
Beaver Steve and I set out for a trip around the Mt. Washington area. Steve being 1000 times more familiar with me led the trip. I'll let the pics tell the story.

Observation hill view to the east

This is me on the Cajones Crunch (Spanish pronunciation: [koˈxones]) Aka. Turn signal destroyer , reflector remover, engine over heater, battery killer, goat ladder.
If you are posing for a pic on this hill ........ well you probably didn't stop for a coffee. Steve's initial words of encouragement " time to put a few scratches on that shiny new bike of yours"

Lots of boulder littered hills single track and creek crossings and a bit of a MX track. Good times Good times.
After 4 hrs and 100 plus kms we ended up at the Oyster River, a good place for some well earned rest and enjoy some conversation.

My Minimum Metzler .

My bike seems to agree that blinkers are overrated. I can relate to much of your sentiment. Sounds like you're making the most of it regardless of the little setbacks!

Thanks for the report. Safe travels!

You take your chances when Steve leads a ride, like the time we were on Bradshaw trail, looking for Red ? canyon. we were out there 2 hrs and lots of scouting was done to find our way. Good times then too. Borrego Steve
